Nowadays,technology on automobile CAN protocol has been widely utilized.In the meantime,data communication and internet technology based on CAN protocol have promising prospect on applications in automobile industry.However,foreign industries have taken related intellectual property right protection and researches on diagnosis of ECU in China are still in the initial stage.This thesis mainly investigates the application of CAN based on automobile local network and designs ECU diagnostic project based on OBDII(On-Board Diagnostics)connector in vehicles.This design is based on NXP1768 and uses CAN transceiver module,man-machine interface module,SD card module as peripheral to build the whole hardware platform;software platform includes uC/OS-II,Fat FS and u C/GUI.This thesis originally creates two special functions,including programs of data stream warning color display and self-learning of data stream by programming of reading cars ECU(electronic control unit)fault codes,clearing cars ECU fault codes,reading data stream of sensors.It also allows automobile technicians to use technology of this thesis to maintain and repair vehicles in a short time according to car ECU fault codes and data stream of sensors,which make car diagnosis more accurate and efficient with regarding to more advanced and practicability in both theory and practical uses.This auto diagnosing equipment is expected to realize the fault diagnosing of engine of 2011 Nissan Sunshine car by reading,displaying,storing and clearing ECU fault codes of Nissan Sunshine,reading dynamic data stream of sensors,displaying the warning color for out-of-range data stream,and self-learning data stream.This designed diagnostic device coincides with diagnostic protocol ISO15765,which contributes to high generality and expansibility.This thesis based on protocol ISO15765 has great significances on technology on having independent intellectual property right of low-cost diagnosing equipment of vehicles.
