Tailings are a very important part of the composition of the mine,the safety of the tailings dam will not only directly affect the downstream residents of their personal and property safety,but also directly related to the surrounding ecological environment.With the continuous progress of China's economy and rapid development,the number of tailings dams showed a significant increase in the trend,and its accumulation of dams are also getting higher and higher,many tailings have entered the middle of the run,to a certain extent There are many factors are overloaded,many of our tailings are overloaded work or high work,high risk,therefore,for the tailings dam safety research has become a number of tailings safety work of the most important,Research on tailings dam has a high academic value and social and economic benefits.In this paper,a tailing in Benxi,Liaoning Province,for example,the use of soil mechanics stability analysis method and principle,the tailings dam as a research object,its safety and stability of the scientific calculation and analysis,mainly including the following:Based on the measured data of a tailings dam,the ten factors influencing the stability of tailings dam are analyzed.The results are as follows: natural density,water factor,seepage,dry beach length,catchment area,tail Mineral,present dam height,row coefficient,bulk bulk density,infiltration line.The above factors play a decisive role in the safety of tailings dams.The correlation analysis of the importance of SPSS is made by statistical software.According to the matrix obtained from our statistics,the following five factors can be obtained as the main factors affecting the safety of tailings dam Factors: water,infiltration lines,dry beach length,seepage and tailings.Secondly,the advantages and disadvantages of the calculation methods(limit equilibrium method,numerical simulation method and uncertain method)which are commonly used in calculating the stability of tailings dam at home and abroad are analyzed.Based on the actual monitoring data of a tailings dam project in Benxi,Liaoning Province,the stability of the most dangerous slope of the tailings dam is calculated by finite element software.The stability analysis and evaluation of the tailings dam is carried out.Using the methods of engineering drilling,engineering geological survey,laboratory test and in situ test,the composition,state and compactness of the tailings deposit were clarified,and the physical and mechanical properties of the tailings deposit were provided.Geological and hydro geological conditions were investigated and evaluated.The calculation of the location of the infiltration line obtained by two-dimensional seepage and calculated by the computer software is very similar to the actual position obtained from the on-site monitoring.This shows that the parameters we selected for the simulation are accurate and effective,using this as a basis for calculation,provide the basis for the subsequent calculation of other wetting lines.It can be seen from the calculation results that the saturation line of the tailing pond is shallow and there is a spill point on the slope surface of the tailings dam.Under the condition of flood operation,the wetting line of the tailings dam escapes on the slope of the dam,this is not conducive to the stability of the dam.Under normal operation,the Swedish arc method and Bishop method are applied to the tailings dam The stability of the tailings dam is calculated,and the operation of the tailings dam is stable under current conditions.Considering the impact of flood water level(the highest flood level + the weight of the dam),the Swedish arc method and Bishop method are used to calculate the stability of the tailings dam The calculation results show that the minimum stability factor calculated by both the Swedish arc method and the Bishop method are greater than the minimum safety factor required by the code.It can be seen that the tailings dam is stable under flood conditions.Under special operating conditions In this paper,the Swedish arc method and Bishop method are respectively used to calculate the stability of the tailings dam.The calculation results show that the tailings dam is stable under special operating conditions.Finally,it summarizes the factors that need attention in the daily operation of the tailings dam,mainly considering the four factors of the infiltration line,flood discharge,consideration and seismic action.In this paper,reasonable and concrete measures are given for various factors,which play a certain reference role for the stability management of tailings dam.
