Research On The Theory And Method Of Early Warning For Safety Accident Of Tower Crane Based On BIM And WSN

Satety problems existing in architecture have always been the focus of scholars' attending and research.According to statics,high falling accident,struck by objects,crane injuries are ranked as the top three possible and harmful accidents.These three accidents types have direct or indirect relations with tower crane.So controls in safety operation of tower crane play a important role in reducing injuries and death.This article illustrate the huge potentials of BIM and WSN in recording humans' movement,monitoring tower cranes' motions and alarming safety hazards.throughout experiments,UWB technology shows better accuracy in tracing humans' movement than other location technologies(e.g.RFID,Zigbee,WIFI etc.)Meanwhile,such sensors as height sensors,inclination sensors and weight sensors also present high accuracy in monitoring tower cranes' motions.A tower crane safety hazards alarming system can be formed by analyzing dangerous zones threatened by tower cranes' motions and making timely alarms to workers in hazard.The main ideas of this thesis are follows:1)Literature review of this research,to know the BIM technology in our country,and the development of WSN.To know the application of these two technologies in construction management.2)Research on the applation of WSN in safety management for tower crane,and the human location of WSN in construction site.Based on such research,the possibility of using these two applications in safety management is explored.The research,data collection,software and hardware are implemented.Furthermore,a complete system is proposed.3)Research on the application of safety management for tower crane.Propose many mesears for safety management.4)Research on the high school in China university of mining and technology as a case study.Implememt our system in this case to test it.Validate this system and find some drawbacks of this system.We finished the experiment of human location,and proposed some suggestions for this whole system.
