Research On The Application Of Regional Culture In The Museum Exhibition Space Design

With the development of the museum,it is not just served as a place for the public to visit and study,but also become a landmark of the city.While facing the trend of global development,the concept of ‘regional culture' gradually goes into the public's view,which requires us to attach importance to inherit the local cultural tradition.Meanwhile,we also need to understand and explore the traditional cultural elements contained in the regional culture.The application of regional culture in the museum exhibition space design is not only the embodiment of the museum's personality and innovation,but also the audience's recognition of the museum.Firstly,this thesis has carried out the investigation of the current situation to the domestic and foreign museum development as well as the museum exhibition space design.And also made clear the research scope and object.On this basis,the regional culture concept,semiotics theory,relevant theories of Museum exhibition space design and so on are discussed.Secondly,based on the semiotic theory,the regional cultural characteristics of Guizhou are analyzed.At the same time,based on the analysis of regional culture in Guizhou Province,some symbols of elements are extracted,including the semantic analysis of materials,patterns,colors,buildings and so on.Thirdly,to find the conjunction between the regional culture of Guizhou province and the exhibition space design of Guizhou provincial museum.After further consideration,according to the combination of theory and practice,the author puts forward five design principles suitable for the exhibition space design of the new museum of Guizhou province.Finally,the case design,demonstration and explanation are given.The author hope that through analysis of Guizhou province regional culture in semantics,its reasonable application in Museum exhibition space design,emphasizes on the regional culture as the core of the exhibition space design,explore an effective display strategy and method under limited resources condition.
