FlexRay bus is designed to make the automotive electronics unit to achieve wire at the beginning,but with the development of automotive electronics technology,automotive key el ectronic control system on the data transmission bus requirements are getting higher and the current mature bus(CAN,LIN)lacks determinism,synchronization,and fault tolerance mech anisms that all drive the generation,development,and application of the Flex Ray bus.With t he automobile manufacturers on the production efficiency of the car more and more demandi ng,social laws and regulations on the car's safety standards are getting higher and higher,inc reasing the development of the car on a variety of comfortable and convenient electronic func tional unit,these factors all make Automotive vehicle network system on the transmission bu s put forward higher requirements.In short,the future of the production of automotive electronic system transmission bus will be faster,more stable,more secure direction.The FlexRay bus is relative to the CAN bus,which single-wire transmission speed can reach 10 Mbps bandwidth,communication protocol built-in fault-tolerant features and certainty are designed to meet safety and reliability requirements of the design for future car.Therefore,the study of FlexRay in-vehicle network is critical to the future development of the car.In this paper,the research and design of the vehicle controller based on Flex Ray are mai nly studied,which the FlexRay bus communication network protocol and the FlexRay protoc ol electrical physical layer specification and Flex Ray protocol specification are studied in det ail.Based on this,the hardware platform of Flex Ray bus communication and he software cod e of Flex Ray communication are designed and built to realize the node data communication of FlexRay vehicle network controller.Through the measurement of the data transmission rat e of the test data,the waveform verifies the FlexRay transmission speed.we have studied the Flex Ray network protocol from the Flex Ray topology,the encodingand decoding of data frames,the encoding and decoding of signatures,Flex Ray's media acces s mode,and clock synchronization.Considering the price and actual design circuit to choose b ased on Freescale's 16-bit microcontroller MC9S12XF512 chip as the main controller chip to design the vehicle network controller Flex Ray communication module for the hardware platfo rm and software module code.The hardware platform selected Freescale's new 16-bit automoti ve microcontrollers with built-in single / dual-channel Flex Ray V2.1 as the main controller,w ith the TJA1080 ATS / 2 as a FlexRay bus transceiver for automotive Network controller proto type design.to achieve vehicle network controller FlexRay bus communication,the software using modular programming ideas,the use of modular drivers,Flex Ray protocol specification based on the realization of Flex Ray bus communication,software,modular Also increases th e flexibility and portability of the program.Modular programming ideas on software using a m odular driver,the normative basis on the Flex Ray protocol,Flex Ray bus on the modular com munications,software also increases the flexibility and portability of the program.By design a nd production of the vehicle network controller,test data is achieved by software programmin g Flex Ray communications,received and transmitted to the static segment and dynamic segm ent of data in different time slots of data,and recorded by the oscilloscope observation to verif y the correctness of the design of vehicle network controller in this study.The actual performa nce has proved critical in FlexRay bus transmission speed and better than the various aspects of the CAN bus.Finally,the design of the network controller model for the prototype,the desi gn of the two Flex Ray bus communication practical application.One is FlexRay bus and CAN bus protocol conversion device design,the other is based on Flex Ray bus engine engine fault detection system device design.In this paper,FlexRay in-vehicle network and data communications controller are designed to meet the design requirements,the completion of the project parameters specified index and reached the desired effect basically.In addition,the research of this subject provides a theoretical basis and practical reference value for the realization of wireline control of automobile high speed vehicle network and the research of FlexRay communication and the realization of automobile application.
