Study On Seismic Reliability Of Urban Water Supply Network

Abstract/Summary:
The water supply system has been destroyed in different degrees in the past and modern history,which has seriously threatened the people’s property and life safety.China is a country with frequent earthquakes;however,most of the network systems have many problems in the seismic design.Based on a large number of domestic and foreign research results,the seismic reliability of the pipe network system is discussed;the main contents are as follows:(1)According to the surveys of the earthquake disaster in the history,the reaction mechanism and the damage characteristics of the water supply network are analyzed comprehensively.The influencing factors such as seismic wave incidence angle,shear wave velocity and pipeline’s diameter were deeply discussed.(2)Establishing the probability forecasting model of buried water supply pipeline and the failure probability of pipeline in different earthquake intensity is analyzed by empirical method and theoretical method.Combined with engineering example,the damage state of water supply network system is evaluated.(3)Based on Monte Carlo stochastic simulation and graph theory,the connection reliability analysis program of water supply network system is developed.The connection reliability of the water supply network system is evaluated with the engineering example,and the validity of the program is verified.(4)According to the hydraulic analysis principle of the water supply network system,normal flow analysis of the water supply network before earthquake was carried out by EPANET.According to the failure state of each pipeline after the earthquake,the hydraulic analysis model with leakage after the earthquake is established.Based on the principle of step by step,considering the node flow and node pressure as evaluating indicators,Combined with engineering example,the water supply function of the network system is simulated and evaluated after the earthquake.
