Rubber concrete as a new building material,compared with the ordinary concrete,its strength is significantly decreased,but the deformation performance is significantly improved.For the study of its mechanical properties,many scholars have done a lot of research work.For the research on the fracture properties of rubber concrete,although some research results have been obtained,but it is not perfect.Supported by the Natural Science foundation of Hebei Province(E2014202257),the mechanical properties,fracture behavior and related factors of rubber concrete were studied by means of experiment and numerical simulation.The main contents are as follows:(1)Based on Fuller gradation curve and Besides the formula,The paper introduces the generation process of the aggregate and rubber.The multiple scales method was used to model the three point bending beam with different sizes of ordinary concrete and rubber concrete and the non-local damage model was used to numerically calculate in meso-scale.The calculation procedure and the method of extracting the results are presented.(2)The accuracy of the numerical calculation method of the paper is verified by the experimental method,and the numerical calculation method is correct.Based on this method,the variation of the fracture process zone length and the area of the damage region change along with the specimen height are studied,and the influence of aggregate distribution on the fracture performance is also studied.The evolution process of the fracture process zone at the tip of a typical specimen is given.(3)The test of the single axial compression and three point bending fracture of the rubber concrete is carried out.Based on the uniaxial compression test,the influence of rubber particle size on the mechanical properties of rubber concrete is studied.Three point bending fracture tests were made to study the influence of specimen height and rubber particle size on fracture properties of rubber concrete.When analysis of the test results,the extension of the crack at pre fabricated crack tip is given.(4)Based on the experimental data of this paper,the fit of the peak load and the displacement of the critical crack mouth are obtained by comparing the two methods,and the correctness of the method is verified.At the same time,the influence of rubber particle size,specimen height,rubber content and matrix strength on fracture properties of rubber concrete was studied.(5)In this paper,the modeling method of the micro view model of rubber concrete considering the random initial interfacial defects is introduced.Based on the meso scale numerical model,the influence of the initial imperfection of the rubber interface on the peak load,the critical crack opening displacement and the critical fracture process zone length is studied.
