With the rapid development of economy,the demand for electric power is increasing.As the main equipment in transformation system,transformer has to develop in the direction of high parameter.The most biggest problem is the cooling mode.Whether dry transformer or oil immersed transformer,the cooling mode is through sensible heat of the medium.The cooling capacity is limited.The content of this article is the evaporative cooling transformer.The medium of evaporative cooling is a low boiling point refrigerant.It has enormous latent heat.Evaporative cooling mode can meet the requirements of transformer.In this article,the characteristics of evaporative cooling transformer are studied by experiment.The mechanism of boiling heat transfer is explored by the data.The heat flux of winding changes from 194.66W/m~2 to 251.91W/m~2.The height of oil duct changes from 3mm to 5mm.Temperature variation of winding and medium is measured.Parameter formula of boiling heat transfer is deduced.The best height of oil duct is discovered.
