The characteristics are high saturation,high compression and uneven distribution of space of the tail ore foundation.The characteristics of low bearing capacity and high deformation of the tail ore foundation have to be treated manually when it encounters such a foundation in the construction of highway.In order to understand the load transfer mechanism,deformation mechanism and load sharing of the composite foundation after artificial treatment,and reasonable and accurate determine the method of bearing capacity and settlement calculation of the composite foundation,the paper which combined the Wang-fan highway project carry out the research of bearing capacity and settlement of CFG pile composite foundation,cement mixing pile composite foundation,gravel pile composite foundation and gravel cushion by means of indoor model test.In this paper,the model test of CFG pile,cement-soil mixing pile and gravel pile composite foundation and gravel cushion were did to test the data of the soil subsidence,soil pressure,pore water pressure,pile strain and so on at 51.7kN,71.7kN,91.7kN,111.7kN and 131.7kN respectively.These data are used to analyze the stress and deformation law of composite foundation,mainly analyzes the friction value of the pile,the pressure value of pore water pressure and soil pressure value of the model test,and revise the formula of the bearing capacity and settlement of composite foundation.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Through analysis test pile side friction value of model of type,gives a bonding material pile composite foundation pile side friction distribution diagram and distribution expression.At the same time,gets a law: with the load increased,the position of the maximum frictional resistance of bonded material pile composite foundation is gradually moved from the 0-1/5 times length of the pile from the top of the pile to the 4/5-1 times length of the pile,the value gradually increases with the increase of load;2.Through analysis of soil pressure and pore water pressure of the model test,the distribution form of the pore water pressure and the effective stress of the reinforcement areas of four composite foundations under the single unilateral drainage condition;3.Based on the analysis conclusion of the model test,correct the bearing capacity and settlement calculation formula of saturated tail ore region CFG pile composite foundation,cement mixing pile composite foundation and gravel pile composite foundation.The research results of this paper has been clear about the stress and deformation character of saturated tail ore composite foundation.At the same time the correction formula of bearing capacity and settlement can provide quite a few references for the design and construction of the similar engineering treatment scheme.
