| As a kind of occupant restraint system,seat belt has saved tens of thousands of lives,and played an important role in the protection of life and property safety.Foreign research institutions found that When the probability of an accident occurs,the use of seat belts compared to the nunuse of seat belts,can reduce the accident rate of about 2/3.Although the protective effect of the seat belt is very obvious,the utilization rate of the seat belt is still low in our country relatively.A survey data in Beijing show that in the event of a number of accidents caused by the impact of death,the use of seat belts was only 12.1%.Therefore,it is necessary to study the use of belt and its influencing factors.This paper investigates the use of seat belts in Xi’an area.A total of 1315 valid questionnaires,11023 expressway observation data and 6325 urban road observation data were collected by questionnaires and field observation.Firstly,the descriptive statistical analysis is used to analyze the collected sample data,and the characteristics of the observed sample data are described.Secondly,after analyzing the factors that affect the use of seat belts,the principal component analysis method is used to extract several factors that affect the use of safety belts in the questionnaire data,and the regression model of principal component analysis is established.The model illustrates the degree to which each factor is associated with seat belt usage.Finally,based on the one-way analysis of variance,the binary logistic regression analysis model was used to analyze the data of highway and urban road research respectively.The effects of gender,age,vehicle type and seat position on seat belt utilization were studied,and the differences in the utilization rate of seat belts for highway and urban road occupants was compared.The study found that the utilization rate of the safety belt of the highway is higher than that of the urban road obviously.Further analysis showed that the rate of safety belt use different sex mainly riding with the location and type of the road,and the copilot and safety belt use rate similar to driving on the highway,the rear seat safety belt use rate of male was higher than female;the driver’s safety belt use rate of male is higher than female on city roads,copilot and the rear seat was higher in females than in males.In addition to the use of 36~45 years old in different parts of the driver’s seat belt use rate is low,the difference in the use of seat belts of different ages is not significant.In different income groups,the middle-income groups compared to low-income groups and high-income groups is a slightly higher rate of use of seat belts. |
