Tilt rotor UAV is a new kind of multifunctional UAV,it is able to vertical take-off,hover and fast cruise.Because there is no special requirement for the take-off and landing environment,the maneuverability of UAV is greatly improved.It is suitable for aerial,transportation,monitoring and other aviation fields.The huge military and civilian value makes more and more institutions at home and abroad to research on the tilt rotor UAV.The tilt rotor UAV in the helicopter mode through rotors rotation to generate lift,it can achieves vertical take-off and landing,self stable hover and low-speed cruise;The UAV in transition mode needs rotors and fixed wing to generate lift,it needs rotors to generate thrust,so that low-speed flight can be achieved;The UAV in fixed wing mode uses fixed wing to generate lift,it uses rotors to generate thrust,so high-speed cruise can be done.This paper is based on the design and control of tilt rotor UAV,it is studied from four aspects.Firstly,The whole structure of the UAV was designed,and the physical model was established in the SolidWorks software;Secondly,the wing was optimized by using CFD technology,and the matching relationship between rotor speed and lift was determined by the experiment;Thirdly,it established the mathematical model of UAV hovering mode,and the cascade PID control system was designed,it built the control system model based on Simulink,and finished the simulation,at the same time,the mathematical model of the UAV transition mode was established,the angle and velocity relation curve was obtained,the control system was built tentatively;Lastly,the UAV prototype was manufactured,which was equipped with the existing flight control board,after modifying the program,the experiment was carried out,the accuracy of the simulation results was verified.This paper can provide some reference for the design and control of tilt rotor UAV in the future.
