With the rapid development of China’s economy,there is a strong need for power.At present,power resources are mainly generated by coal-fired stations which will result in the problem of resource depletion and climate change.Therefore,it is urgent to develop a new type of renewable green energy.As a renewable green energy,mechanical energy widely exists in our daily life.The paper aims at designing a power generation system that fits for sidewalk and harvesting the energy of the walking people.Through the studying on equivalent model and characters of piezoelectric transducer,a series of related simulations are completed under the Multisim EDA software,and then the scheme of energy harvesting circuit is determined by comparing several rectifier circuit,steady voltage circuit and storage medium.Besides,the circuit design schematic and PCB are made by CADENCE EDA software,what’s more engineering experiments are also carried out.A snow-melting system based on this scheme were designed for footbridge at the end of this paper.Specific work as follows: At first,PZT-4 is chosen as the piezoelectric vibrator on the basis of analyzing the piezoelectric effect and properties of piezoelectric material.That the two ends of the piezoelectric vibrator are fixed is selected as the supporting mode of the system according the characteristics of mechanical energy existing in sidewalk.Secondly energy harvesting circuit is designed after the thoroughly studying and analysis on voltage and current output characteristics of piezoelectric vibrator,voltage doubling circuit is used as rectifier circuit by comparing the efficiency and ripple coefficient of different circuits,and the DC/DC voltage regulator circuit is made of LTC3588-1 designed specifically for energy harvesting and other peripheral components,the output voltage of DC/DC voltage regulator is configured in 3.3V by tying the output select bits of LTC3588-1,and the super capacitor as the medium is used to storage energy.On the base of the above,circuit schematic and PCB that have been tested is finished.Finally,snow-welt system based on the above generation scheme in this paper is proposed.A scheme which converts mechanical energy to electrical energy is put forward in the study of this paper,it is accord with the energy-saving and reduce emissions and sustainable development,it also has broad market and practical application value.
