With the increasing demand of traffic in major cities,the traffic problem is becoming more and more prominent.As the main skeleton of urban road network,the running efficiency of expressway directly affects the overall efficiency of urban traffic,so speeding up the construction of expressway is a new trend.According to the design requirements,the expressway should provide convenient,comfortable,safe and efficient driving environment for urban traffic.However,with the rapid growth of traffic volume,the speed of construction of expressway can not meet the increase of traffic demand,The problem of congestion is increasing.In the background of urban traffic network,this paper starts from the concept definition,function orientation and traffic characteristics of urban expressway.It analyzed the traffic problems of urban expressway existing in the connected region with other urban roads,and on this basis,put forward the main points of optimizing the urban expressway.This paper constructed the coordinated control strategies and optimization methods for the connection area of urban expressway and other crossed roads with simple and practical principles.These strategies and methods apply to different locations and different road conditions Then,the author systematically studied the single-point control method of urban expressway ramp in the connected region between urban expressway and other city roads,analyzed and compared the various algorithms of single-point control.Afterwards,based on the single-point control optimal but the overall control effect is not good in the connected region,this paper based on the analysis of single-point control method,finally put forward the concept and method of coordinated control.The Second Ring Road as the traffic arteries of Xi’an,carrying a large part of the traffic flow inside and outside the evacuation of Xi’an.But in recent years,traffic congestion is increasingly serious,and with the construction of Kunming Road and other fast Roads,road closure further aggravated the traffic congestion.This paper takes the Kunming Road and the Golden Gate Interchange of Xi’an Second Ring Road as an example to conduct on-site investigation of the congestion in the southwest of the the Second Ring Road in Xi’an,and analyzed the road conditions with software such as Google Earth and Baidu map.Finally,proposed programs and measures to optimize the connection area.The research content,method and conclusion of the paper are an exploration of the method of optimizing the urban expressway and the alternated road,and it can provide some reference for solving the congestion problem of the interchange area between the urban expressway and the alternated road. |
