The object of this study are the slopes along the high way in Southwest Yunnan,which a seismically active areas,the purpose of the study is to discus the stability of the slopes which have weak intercalation compound.The principal method of this thesis are upper bound method of limit analysis and model test method,other methods like theory of fluctuations and sensitivity analysis method are also used in the study.In the study water-influenced in the stability of the slopes is taken into account.In the last,the thesis study on slopes' failure processes failure mode and failure mechanism based on the shaking table model test,and the study also verify the rationality of upper bound method of limit analysis combined with the shaking table model test.The main contents are as follows:(1)Use the upper bound method of limit analysis to analyze sliding failure of the slopes which have weak intercalation.To judge the slopes' stability based on the energy coefficient,and based on the wave theory to solve the seismic wave energy,at last,use minimum average energy coefficient.(2)The thesis studied five parameters which affect the slope stability,like the layer's angle,seismic wave incident angle,soil cohesion of the layer,internal friction angle of layer and the value of acceleration of earthquake waves,through the above analysis,it is concluded that the influence of various parameters on the slope stability.On the other hand,the thesis studied the rain infiltration process in the slope and unsaturated soil strength theory,researched in different state of moisture content of the layer,the slope stability.(3)Based on the similarity relation manufacture indoor model tests,put four 2cm layers in each model,and the layers constitute of clay.The main study of the model test is observing the failure process and the final failure pattern,and then calculate the energy coefficient based on the data got from the test,and used displacement and time curve to explore the failure mechanism.
