Study On Heat Transfer Characteristics Of Gravity Heat Pipe And Ground Source Heat Pump Composite Road Snowmelt System

Snow covers a wide range in China’s winter,there are many road traffic accidents caused by snowfall,road snow and icing causes great inconvenience to the people travel,and damage people’s lives and property safety at the same time.Gravity Heat Pipe/ Ground Source Heat Pump compound road snow melting system combines fluid heating technology with heat pipe heating technology,is a kind of energy saving and efficient road snow melting technology.This paper designs and builds a Gravity Heat Pipe/ Ground Source Heat Pump compound road snow melting system,carries out a series of experiments based on compound experiment platform,the numerical calculation model of fluid heating pavement and heat pipe heating pavement is constructed,verify the reliability of the model,and carries out the numerical simulation of the composite system.The main research contents and achievements are summarized as follows:Firstly,designs and builds a Gravity Heat Pipe/ Ground Source Heat Pump compound road snow melting system in a realistic environment for the winter weather conditions in Harbin.Analyzes the influence of heating temperature,flow rate,ambient temperature and buried pipe spacing on the temperature variation of road surface,studies the effect of Gravity Heat Pipe assisted Ground Source Heat Pump on snowmelt effect,analyzes the energy consumption of the system before and after frequency conversion.Secondly,establishes the numerical calculation model of fluid heating pavement and heat pipe heating pavement,verify the reliability of the model,the thermal resistance model is introduced into the heat pipe heating pavement calculation model,increases the speed of calculation,and provides a guarantee for the long-term work of numerical simulation in heat pipe.At last,analyzes the road surface temperature varies with the running time under the influence of different factors,as well as the effect on temperature uniformity,analyzes the changes in soil temperature with running time,discusses the influencing factors of the limit temperature of the pavement,the maximum heat supply of snowmelt load and heat pipe system in winter is given,revealing the heat pipe heating capacity is limited,requires a Ground Source Heat Pump system to co-melt snow.
