With the deepening of urbanization and the continuous improvement of the level of motorization, the proportion of urban residents' carbon emissions in urban carbon emissions is increasing. In the existing research, the linear regression method is used to analyze the impact of the built environment on the residents' travel behavior, and the spatial heterogeneity between the residents' travel data nested in the built environment space unit and the different research units are neglected. In this paper, the multi-level modeling method is used to study the spatial heterogeneity of residential environment in residential area, residents' travel distance and residents' travel carbon emission in ShenZhen. In this paper, the study concluded that the residential environment on the impact of the different travel mode, the spatial heterogeneity between the groups is 2.248.Density and intersections density on travel mode of motor vehicle travel had no significant effect, the distance to center residents travel choice of motor vehicle travel has a significant negative effect, diversity and stop density residents choose the vehicle travel has a significantly positive impact.Gender, annual household income and family car ownership has a positive effect on the residents to choose the vehicle travel, age and family population choice motor vehicle travel has a negative effect, and the family bicycle ownership on vehicle travel choices did not significantly affect, the built environment variables is not significant on car regulation effects residents travel mode. The spatial heterogeneity between traffic ayalysis zone was improved by 29.70%.Residential built environment on the impact of the spatial heterogeneity in the distance of residents travel, residents travel distance of 14.50% of the spatial heterogeneity between the groups.Density, the distance to center and the diversity have negative impact on the distance of the residents travel, but the density of the intersection and the density of the bus stop on the distance of the residents is not significant.Gender, annual household income and bicycle have a positive impact on the distance of the residents travel, the total number of households has a negative impact on the distance of the residents travel.Built environment variables on the impact of car travel distance adjustment is not significant. After adding the built environment variables and the individual attribute variables, the spatial heterogeneity was optimized by 9%,and the spatial heterogeneity within the group was 14.98%.The spatial heterogeneity in the impact of the built environment on the carbon emission between the groups is 0.945.Density has a negative impact on residents travel carbon emissions, intersection density has a positive impact on the residents travel carbon emissions,to the center distance, diversity and bus stop density on residents travel carbon emissions had no significant effect.Gender, age, annual household income and family car ownership has a positive and significant influence on residents travel carbon emissions, the total number of households and family cars have influence on residents travel carbon emissions are not significant. The addition of the built environment variables to the family car has an impact on the residents' travel carbon emission is not significantly regulated. After adding the built environment variables and individual attribute variables, the spatial heterogeneity of the carbon emission of residents' travel behavior was optimized by 13.40%,and the spatial heterogeneity between the groups was optimized by 21.80%.
