With the urbanization and the progress of the society, the simple, efficient and environmentally friendly way of life become the mainstream of the city.As people spend most of their time in office building, they put forward higher requirements on office environment, and pay more attention to the green and energy saving of office space.Office building, which regarded as one of the most highly density buildings types in a city,is taking up a lot of city green land, causing urban heat island effect, waste of resources, and worsen the urban ecological environment.Vertical greening, known as a new trend in the development of city which can use land economically, beautify the environment, reduce temperature and noise, etc. At present, domestic research for application of vertical greening in office building, especially in the Pearl River Delta are limit. Therefore, the objective of this article is the application of vertical greening for office buildings in the Pearl River Delta, discussing how to integrate vertical greening into office building in order to improve the indoor and outdoor environment,so as to achieve the ecological effect, and put forward the suitable greening design strategies for office buildings in the pearl river delta. Moreover, provide the theory basis for implementation of vertical greening in the Pearl River Delta region and promote the application in our country. In this paper, firstly starting from the concept of vertical greening, office buildings and other related concepts and definitions.Secondly,to do the in depth research of the vertical greening technology of the Pearl River Delta region.Thirdly, conduct inductive analysis of case studies through data collection and field investigation at home and abroad. Finally, several vertical greening design strategies according to different building space and building facades based on the vertical greening technologies and case studies will be put forward. The conclusion presented in this paper can made available to the designer and used as a reference guideline for integrating the vertical greening design into the architectural design practice. |
