Overhead transmission line as an important part of power transmission system,it plays a more and more important role in the current power industry.As the overhead transmission line is exposed to the external environment,so it is inevitable to face the influence of various environmental factors,so it is needed more accurate to understand the true state of the overhead transmission line.Transmission line state evaluation is an important means to judge the quality of the overhead transmission line,by the more accurate state estimation method to confirm the transmission line operation state.These operations makes the grid managers can better scheduling operation,and efficient allocation of maintenance power.Finally,it can greatly improve the operational reliability of the transmission lines.In this paper,we first look at the data to understand the data mining technology and the research status of overhead transmission line status analysis.Putting forward the main research objectives.Secondly,introduces the theoretical research on the evaluation of transmission line state.According to the evaluation criteria and failure modes of overhead transmission lines,the lines will be divided into several relatively independent parts.The status evaluation index of overhead transmission line is established.The contents and standards of these indexes are introduced.Then introduces the theory of fuzzy mathematics.Emphatically describes the principle of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,and gives the concrete operation steps and the flow chart of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.The evaluation method is used to calculate the state evaluation of a 220 KV overhead transmission lines.Through the analysis of the results,we can find out the deficiency of this method and put forward the improvement this method.Finally,from the principle and calculation method two aspects to introduce the data mining technology.According to the data characteristics of overhead transmission lines in the modern smart power grid,and the characteristics of the meteorological data in this paper.These data can be pretreated by the inverse distance weighted method.In view of some special sections of overhead transmission lines,an improved method for evaluating the state of overhead transmission line is designed.This method mainly uses the K-means algorithm to find out the lightning fault prone areas,heavy polluted areas and heavy precipitation areas in the line.Readjusting the weight of index in each district of these pass special regions,in order to improve the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.Through the case calculation of the improved evaluation method,and make a comparative analysis of the two evaluation methods.We can draw the conclusion that the improved method has better accuracy and feasibility than the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.
