| A new damper,tuned viscous mass damper(TVMD),is introduced in this paper.The main research contents and results are as follows:First of all,the paper explains damper’s working principle and analyses its mechanical properties.Establish vibration differential equation of single particle system intalled with TVMD.Seismic response calculation formulas of TVMD are obtained from average velocity method and average acceleration method.Then figure out time history analysis method of this system based on Wilson-θmethod.Then the paper analyses the single particle system with the transfer function method.Analytic values of structure’s inter-layer displacement reaction rate、structure’s horizontal absolute acceleration reaction rate、structure’s inter-layer displacement decrease rate and structure’s horizontal absolute acceleration decrease rate are obtained.Optimize stiffness ratio and damper’s damping ratio by using the fixed-point theory.With the optimized parameters,analyze the damper’s applicable occasions and damping effect by analytic values.Then one layer steel frame structure which suffers from simple harmonic wave is built to verify the correctness of analytic values.Next,a design method of TVMD based on energy balance equation is proposed.The energy balance equation of single particle system is derived.Expressions’ significance are analyzed.Establish multi-particles system and derive its expressions.Then predicted formulas of structure’s shear coefficients、system’s shear coefficients、structure’s story drifts、mass damper’s energy dispersion coefficients、viscous damper’s energy dispersion coefficients are derived from the energy balance equation.Then 10 layers steel frame structure which suffers from two artificial earthquake waves is built to verify the correctness of predicted formulas by using time history analysis method.Finally,simplified formulas of mass damper’s energy dispersion coefficients in bottom layer and viscous damper’s energy dispersion coefficients in bottom layer are fitted from 20 models.The accuracy of the simplified formulas are verified by the time history analysis method.Finally,10 layers steel frame structure installed with TVMD which suffers form two artificial earthquake waves is built as example.Structure’s inter-layer displacement decrease rate and inter-layer shear force decrease rate in 125 working conditions are analyzed.Then,according to different usage requirements,put forward optimized objective functions.Figure out optimized working conditions of TVMD by 5 different requirements. |
