In recent years,with the rapid development of Internet and information technology,big data has become a hot term in various industries,which has been widely recognized,achieved a preliminary attempt and application and has a tremendous impact on various industries.New research methods and approaches have been introduced into planning and decision support in the context of big data,which is characterized by its large scale of data and its quantitative,automated,quantitative analysis means.At the same time,artificial intelligence as a new generation of information technology has achieved explosive growth,deep learning is one of the most representative branches of artificial intelligence,which has a wide range of applications in the fields of image,video,language and voice analysis and identification.we would be able to find,predict and verify some potential rules in a large number of urban data through deep learning.During the transition period of urban development urban planning is also changing and updating,urban design as a new round of urban development has been upgraded to a new height,the city characteristics and spatial quality are increasingly valued,city image,one of the effective ways of city cognition,is of great significance to the city itself and urban design.The transformation of urban development and the update of urban planning have put forward higher requirements on the quality of urban space and the science of urban planning,the scope of urban studies has changed from the material space to the complex system of city including space,economy and society,the demand of people oriented and scientific quantitative is matched with the characteristics of big data and artificial intelligence,which could adapt to the complex system of city better than traditional technology.The combination of city image,big data and deep learning forms the golden triangle of the research model from three aspects of theory,data and technology,city image provides a theoretical basis for the application of large data and deep learning,big data and deep learning also bring innovation and development to the cognition of city image.This paper first discusses the development dilemma of urban planning based on big data in three aspects,theory,data and technology.Then,put forward a new method of city image cognition combined with the transformation of urban development and urban planning,which is city image as the theoretical basis,the active representation of data as the data source,and the deep learning as the core technology,establish the cognitive model of city image,to expand the theoretical connotation and cognitive dimension of city image,analyze the city image from the three dimensions of image structure,image type and image evaluation.Finally,verify the applicability and scientificity of the cognitive method and model through the case of city image cognition in the main district of Chongqing,in order to enhance the practicality and applicability of city image in urban planning.Meanwhile,this paper will answer the development dilemma of big data,summed up the development trend of big data,explore the new change of artificial intelligence for the urban planning,and put forward the prospects for further research and practice.This paper is divided into five chapters;the chapter arrangement is as follows.The first chapter is the introduction,including the research background,research purpose,research significance,related concepts,research methods and research framework.Through the analysis,it is pointed out that the new methods such as big data and artificial intelligence have great effect on the development of urban planning and research,as well as the significance of city image to urban development and urban design.The second chapter is the overview of the related theory and practice,including the theory and practice of city image,the application and analysis of big data and deep learning in urban planning.This chapter discusses the feasibility of constructing city image cognitive model,which is the city image as the theoretical basis,the active representation of data as the data source,and the deep learning as the core technology,through summarizing the research and practice of city image,big data and deep learning.The third chapter is the construction of city image cognitive model,including theoretical basis,data acquisition,key technology,cognitive system,planning application.This chapter describes the construction process of the model and analysis logic,analyzes the application scope of the model.The fourth chapter is the cognition of city image in the main district of Chongqing,including the background,the scope and the data source,the cognition and analysis of the city image,the summary and optimization of the problem.This chapter takes the city image cognition of Chongqing main district as an example to verify the applicability and scientificity of the model,and sums up the problems of city image in the main district of Chongqing.The fifth chapter is conclusion and discussion,including the innovation and limitations of this paper,summary and outlook.This chapter summarizes the main research and practice.research results,innovations and limitations,and puts forward the prospect of further research and practice.
