It is essential for designers to obtain the performance of engine as fast as possible in conceptual design of scramjet.So the designers could choose some excellent designs and do more test.Quasi-one-dimensional method could be used to do the evaluation with the characteristics of less calculation,low cost and high efficiency.This paper concentrates on developing quasi-one-dimensional method of scramjet,and dividing the working process of engine into three different thermodynamic processes,which are compression process,combustion process and expansion process.Then we could analyze each working process and obtain the overall performance of engine,such as specific thrust,overall efficiency,and specific impulse.According to thermodynamic theories,developing scramjet preliminary analysis method based on stream thrust analysis.It is a good approximation model to solve the performance parameters in all different reference points.Then,this paper will do some study of the effect of related design parameters on the engine performance,after that some suggestions will be raised to the preliminary design of scramjet.The quasi-one-dimensional method will be developed in consideration of real gas effect and fuel addition in the engine.In compression process,the exit parameters of the scramjet inlet can be given as compression ratio varies;in the combustion process,the effect of some influence factors,which are cross-sectional variation,total temperature variation,wall friction and fuel addition,for the performance of combustor will be analyzed;in the expansion process,viscosity loss and nonequilibrium effect are measured by a coefficient called expansion efficiency.Hyshotâ…¡ vehicle is used as a verification to test and verify the accuracy of quasi-one-dimensional method.The results show that the method could be used to the rapid evaluation of the performance of scramjet,and the method has good precision. |
