LiBr H2 O Absorption Heat Pump(AHP)sometime has poor effect because if the continuing part-load condition.Generally engineering project change the load by adjusting the boundary parameters, which, however, result in unsatisfactory effect. Therefore, active regulation to adjust solution flow should be applied.Through simulation and field experiment, the part-load performance of AHP and the effect of active regulation in single effect AHP and in a particularly structural AHP.Calculation models of physical properties are first compiled from literature research. Then a design model of the single effect AHP is compiled in VBA language and a set of design parameters is calculated.Afterwards,a steady state analysis model is constructed based on the design parameters and a modeling method.According to the analysis model, active regulation can improve the part-load performance of AHP.For example,at a certain thermal network return water temperature, active regulation can improve the COPhfrom 1.636 to 1.789.It is because the exergy loss of heat transfer in the solution heat exchanger and the internal exergy dissipation in the generator are reduced by active regulation when the drive steam flow is automatic adjusted. In addition, active regulation is more useful when the thermal network water flow drop or the return water temperature rise, rather than when the waste-heat water flow drop or the inlet temperature rise.Based on a 5MW AHP in Dehui,a steady state model is constructed to analyze the particularly structural AHP commonly used by TONGFANG Energy Saving co.,LTD.The effect of active regulation is verified when the thermal network water flow drop or the return water temperature rise. After modelling analysis, the 5MW AHP is leak detected,is maintained,is turned on and is sit commissioned.Part-load experiment and active regulation experiment were carried out when the solution concentration is low due to the pumping of the excess refrigerant is yet unfinished. When the return water temperature is60.5?,decrease solution flow makes the COPhrise from 1.168 to 1.396.It is because smaller solution flow rises the solution concentration and thus enhances theabsorption, which is shown by the lower evaporation temperature and the better waste-heat utilization. The steady state simulation and the field experiment show that active regulation can partly improve the performance of the lithium bromide AHP and thus benefit the project.
