Study On Design Modes Of Chongqing Art District By Context Inheritance

The Art Zone's main cultural vehicles are art gallary,museum and artists' workshop,and also its major functions are the artisctical products' procution,consumption and cultural communication like paining,sculpture,video,music,ect.Its aim is to satisfy people various need on culture.That is to say the Art Zone is an important material vehicles.The term context used in Architecture and Urban and rural planning points out the corresponding relationship in coordinate or overlap space units under the human living environment,it also describes the current situation and the history of space formation.It consists of two meanings,1.Traditional Inheritance and Development as we understand.2.the relationship between buildding and environment under the synchronic conditionAs to the protecton of local culture,the two value dimentions synchronicity and diachronicity,and cultual material matching in time and space actually base on the concept Context.Under the environment of current Chinese developing creativity industry,this essay talks about local culture's inheritance and development,coordination and mutualism which may be beneficial to them.Speaking of the construction of Art Zone,it adopts methods which not only base on the design and renovation of old space,but also the rebuilding of the new one.Although the two methods are different on aesthetics and function,they absorb the same value system under the environment of context.In conmmon sense,the revonation of old space is more likely to reserve and restore the historical and environmental information.In this essay,by the constrast of the two methods,the auther wants to critically find out the different meanings and cons and pros of cultural information from the cultural context angle.This essay's logical framwork can be divided into 3 sections.The 1st part is Theory Reserch which includes 3 points.1.The introduction of the context especially on the two value dimentions synchronicity and diachronicity.2.The orgnization of Chong Qing's regional cultural elements 3.The reseach of the two methods revonation and rebuilding by referring history and documents.The 2nd part is case study.By using these 3 standards,The author made some case studies and discussion of design and practise about Huangjue Tree and Ba Bing No.1 Art Zones.The 3rd part is contrast reserch basing on theories and cases from the angle of synchronicity and diachronicity and then make a conclusion.In order to be fit in the current China modernization request,the author wants to make some contribution to urban context and human living environment.
