With the rapid development of the global aviation industry,the shortage of air resources and traffic congestion has become increasingly apparent.In order to effectively implement the air traffic management under high density,small interval and high flow conditions,it is the important goals in the urgent development of civil aviation system to construct intelligent new generation air traffic management automation system.So,the American next generation of Air Traffic Management System(NextGen)and the European Single Sky Implementation Plan(SESAR)will be based on trajectory based operations(TBO).Accurate four-dimensional trajectory prediction and optimization is the core and key to achieving trajectory-based operation(TBO).In view of this,this paper conducts a comprehensive and in-depth study of the real-time four-dimensional trajectory prediction and the four-dimensional trajectory optimization.First,the real – time four-dimensional trajectory prediction method is proposed based on the strategy of trajectory update and intention updating.The ADS-B receiver receives the information sent by the aircraft airborne equipment every second.Then the information are decomposed and decoded according to the standard protocol,and obtains the real-time trajectory of the aircraft,triggers the four-dimensional track forecast.Meanwhile monitors the four-dimensional trajectory prediction,when the four-dimensional trajectory prediction error exceeds the threshold,update the aircraft intent and real-time trajectory,trigger a new track forecast.Secondly,the four-dimensional trajectory optimization algorithm is proposed based on the gaussianpPseudospectral method method,the four-dimensional trajectory optimization problem is the most optimal control problem.Firstly,the optimal control problem is transformed into the nonlinear programming problem with Gauss pseudospectral method,and then the sequential quadratic programming method is used to solve the nonlinear programming problem.Based on the above theory,the simulation results show that the method can generate flight profiles and meet the requirements for operation and environment.Finally,real-time four-dimensional trajectory prediction tool,based on real-time four-dimensional trajectory prediction method,is developed by visual studio 2005 and QT.The real-time data of arrival flight of Nanjing Lukou Airport are used as simulation data to verify the effectiveness of the method.
