With the rising of train speed,people demand more on the comfort and safety,MR damper,as a new intelligent device,has a good application prospect in vibration suppression.This paper takes magnetorheological damper as the core to study the control strategy and damping performance of the semi-active suspension system.Firstly,analyse the basic working principle of MR damper,introduce a shear valve MR damper designed according to high speed train model parameters.Conduct a simulation analysis on the MR damper with finite element software,on the one hand,the rationality of magnetic circuit has been proved;on the other hand,the damper characteristics under different currents has been studied.Secondly,manufacture the magnetorheological damper we designed and take dynamometer test,test results show that the MR damper's damping force varies with the applied current,so it can be used as semi-active control components.Based on the test data analysis dynamometer characteristics of MR damper and the change rule of the equivalent damping coefficient under different conditions.Ues the genetic algorithm to identify the parameters based on Bouc-Wen and Sigmoid general hysteresis model,and establish the dynamic model of MR damper in Simulink.Further,according to the analysis of the rail excitation during the train running,establish a simplified model of two degrees of freedom for train with MR damper,study the damping characteristics under different semi-active control strategies,the simulation results show that the effect of on-off skyhook control and continuous skyhook control and fuzzy control are better than the passive damping,the acceleration mean square value of train body decreased by 7.5% to 15.1%.Finally,the experimental study was conducted by using simplified platform and DSP controller.The experimental results show that the different control algorithms can significantly reduce the vibration transmissibility of the object,under the condition of random vibration,the MR damper can also be used to suppress the RMS of vibration acceleration.Through the comparison of three semiactive control algorithms,the damping effect of fuzzy control is best,on-off skyhook control has the lowest requirement for equipments and it's the most easily to achieve.
