Asphalt distributor is one of the most important facilities for road maintenance,and its performance directly affects the spraying quality and asphalt consumption.The traditional asphalt distributor uses hydraulic pump to drive hydraulic motor,which drives the asphalt pump to generate pressure to achieve the way of pressure spraying through the nozzle.This way has been used by asphalt distributor manufacturers at home and abroad over the years,and the technology is very mature.Then a foamed asphalt distributor spraying system is put forward in this paper.However,the research on foamed asphalt distributor at home and abroad is basically blank.And as the asphalt foaming technology is mature,the theoretical and simulation research on the asphalt foaming and spraying system of foamed asphalt distributor is focused on,which is of great significance.The scheme of foaming and spraying system in foamed asphalt distributor is put forward in this paper,and the feasibility of asphalt foaming technology without compressed air is verified by a simple test.Based on the analysis of the relationship between foamed asphalt expansion and viscosity,that the suitable expansion rate for foamed asphalt spraying is 6 is put forward.Then the three-dimensional model of foaming process is established.By FLUENT simulation method,the most economical asphalt temperature and water consumption are achieved in asphalt foaming process.By collecting and sorting the relevant information of asphalt distributor at home and abroad,the relationship between the speed and the amount of sprinkler is determined.Then the range of flow rate of asphalt pump and the sprinkler rod diameter are figured out on the basis of determining the amount of sprinkler and sprinkling width.Based on the analysis of the factors influencing spread uniformity,the pavement penetration depth is proposed as a supplementary index for evaluating spread uniformity.Based on the analysis of the method of improving the multi-overlapping sprinkler,the range of the spray angle and the flow rate are figured out.According to the distance between asphalt nozzles of 100 mm,125mm and 150 mm,the structural parameters of three types of asphalt nozzles are calculated and the three-dimensional models are established.Under the different and same spraying pressure,the simulation results of spraying state are compared to get the suitable range of spraying pressure and show that the spraying effect of the straight-headed flat nozzle is the best for three types of asphalt nozzles.When the spray pressure is 0.5MPa,the simulation results of spraying state are compared to show that the spray uniformity is best when the distance between asphalt nozzles is 150 mm.Finally the number of asphalt nozzle and the distance between nozzle and ground are figured out.
