In recent years,many earthquake damage phenomena showed that near-fault ground motion with velocity pulse influence on a long-periodic structure are more serious than the near-fault ground motion without velocity pulse,especially the control room above the intake tower,the influence of earthquakes are more prominent.Therefore,to study the dynamic response under earthquakes about the intake tower has important significance.This paper discusses the characteristics of the near fault ground motion,and discusses the influence of the near fault earthquake on the structure of the intake tower with a practical project of intake tower structure as the research object.First,use the mode decomposition response spectrum method to study the dynamic characteristics of tower structure and the control room above the intake tower under near fault earthquake,and get the structure dynamic response rules,anti slip and anti overturning stability characteristics about the intake tower;then use the history analysis method to study the dynamic response under the near fault earthquake(including no velocity pulse and the velocity pulse earthquakes),and made the following research results:First,in the near fault earthquake,the seismic dynamic stress of the water tower structure is small,the bearing capacity and overturning stability and anti sliding stability calculation of the intake tower foundation conform to the specifications,has great seismic performance.Second,for the control room above the tower,the seismic stress response of the earthquake has the velocity pulse are bigger than earthquake has no velocity pulse,and when the PGV/PGA is larger,the reaction force bigger.So we should pay more attention to the earthquake has the velocity pulse,and pay attention to this aspect.In addition,from the point of view of acceleration,the acceleration response of the near fault ground motion with the velocity pulse is not significant.Last,for large volume water tower part,the earthquake has the velocity pulse and no velocity pulse are similar,the velocity pulse is not very sensitive,no substantial changes,and can be seen from the results for containing velocity pulse ground motions are reduced the displacement of the top of the intake tower. |
