Seismic electro-magnetic satellite is an experimental platform to monitor physical quantity such as global spatial electromagnetic fields,electromagnetic waves,ionosphere plasma and high energy particle.This satellite is mainly used to explore earthquake precursor information and monitor & forecast space environment.High Energy Particle Detector(HEPD)is a payload of Seismic electro-magnetic satellite which is used for measuring direction and energy of high-energy particles,and finding possible association between the space particle flux and the electromagnetic radiation caused by the earthquake.In this paper,the mechanical structure of high energy particle detector is designed,and mechanical performance of the structure is analyzed.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The mechanical structure of High Energy Particle Detector(HEPD)is designed via Autodesk Inventor software in accordance with the rules for the construction of HEPD.According to HEPD’s design input,an appropriate shape is selected and part and connections design are done.Under the premise of meeting the function,performance and work reliability of HDPE,small volume,light weight and low cost are required.HEPD has been assembled after all parts processed.According to the deficiencies found in the practice process,some suggestions for improvement are given.(2)Finite element model of HEPD is built in ABAQUS,including models simplification,mesh,model test,and so on.Modal analysis based on this model is done and result proved the feasibility of structure design.Modal test for HEPD is done by using OROS dynamic signal analyzer and N-Modal software.The comparison of modal analysis and modal test verify the accuracy and effectiveness of the finite element model.(3)Analysis of static load and dynamic load for HEPD is conducted.According to the results of static analysis rigidity and strength of HEPD,and the bending limit of PCB board are checked.The layout of PCB board is optimized after obtain the response of main components in random vibration.(4)From X,Y,Z direction of HEPD,the sine-vibration and random vibration test under appraisal grade are performed.The results of the vibration environmental test show that HEPD can withstand the appraisal grade load,and the structure design is feasibility.
