The rapid development of smart grid and the use of nonlinear devices have contributed to human convenience but also brought serious harmonic hazards to the electric system,which makes low power quality.Therefore,harmonic governance is extremely urgent.Currently the primary mean of control is putting into harmonic filter.Hybrid active power filter(HAPF)is a very forward-looking filtering system,which can satisfy the two requirements of harmonic control and reactive power compensation.Analyzing harmonic pollution problem of Shanxi and considering the currently optimization design method of HAPF optimization can't meet its characteristics,such as multi-objective,non-linear and so on,the improved Cuckoo search algorithm for multi-objective optimization(MOCS)algorithm is applied to the 500 kVA HAPF optimization design to achieve the goal of multi-objective parameter optimization of HAPF.Based on the analysis of the working principle and algorithm flow of the standard MOCS,its disadvantages and shortcomings on the optimization problem is illustrated.Aiming at the shortcoming of the solution convergence rate of the algorithm in the late period of the iteration,the Gaussian perturbation boundary strategy MOCS algorithm is proposed to improve the position of the cuckoo nest by using the Gaussian disturbance operator and to transcend the nest beyond the boundary.As to the problem that the standard MOCS algorithm is easy to fall into the local optimum,the chaos cloud model MOCS algorithm is proposed by using chaos theory and cloud model which are more suitable for global optimization.And then use the typical multi-objective reference function to test the performance of the two improved algorithms respectively.The experimental results show the advantages of all aspects.Shunt Injection type of HAPF is selected and the influence of the parameters of each part of HAPF on the filtering performance is studied and illustrated.The economic index,the satisfaction function and the reactive power compensation as the multi-objective function of HAPF and the constraints are determined,two improved algorithms are applied to HAPF.Compared with the traditional optimization design method,using the Matlab/Simulink module to simulate the design of HAPF,the improved algorithm and HAPF optimization configuration model of the practicality and economy is verified.
