Technical Standards Of Highway Traffic Simulation Projects

In this paper,the necessity of establishing standards was analyzed from the view of the fact that there is no microscopic traffic simulation standards in our country for a long time.According to the foreign literature and the actual situation of China's highway,this paper analyzed the specific circumstances of the establishment of the standard part and proposed the local standards of Hebei province " Technical standards of highway traffic simulation projects".This standard includes the overall planning,data collection and statistical analysis,the simulation model,the calibration standard,the reporting standards and other parts.Then this paper further extended out of two innovation points: the classification method of highway traffic simulation and the calculation method of simulation range.This part put forward the general plan of highway simulation technology standard.This part determined the purpose of compilating the simulating regulations,the criteria of the project and the scope of use,and made normative reference document,the relevant terms and basic rules of the simulation code clearly.The classification method of highway traffic simulation was put forward emphatically.In the method,the number of the simulation project code and the means of every code were given according to the administrative level and the technical level of highway,the time of occurrence for the traffic simulation project,the organizational situation of the traffic simulation project,the specific simulation object of the traffic simulation project,the cross shapes of the intersection,the control modes of the intersection in china.This part proposed the data acquisition and statistical analysis.In this part,the data types and data acquisition methods of road condition data,traffic flow data,traffic control and operation environment data are analyzed and studied,to ensure that the data collected is true and reliable.This part presented the method of building a highway traffic simulation model.In this part,the modeling standards for road conditions,traffic flow conditions and traffic control management and operation environment data were analyze.A new method of determining the simulation area was provided for road condition modeling.This method calculated the imulation scope from avoiding the emergence of "red light",avoiding the vehicle to change lanes prematurely,and reflecting the actual length of the queue,which can provide a good precondition for the establishment of the highway traffic simulation model.The traffic condition model mainly reflected the content of the flow data for motorized traffic,non motorized traffic,and the pedestrian.Traffic control management and operation environment data model are mainly to reflect data of the traffic control facilities,the traffic management situation and the operation environment.It can make the simulation process standardization,by stringent requirements at every step.This part presented the method of model calibration and the written of analysis report.In this part,the standard process involed model modification,model correction and inspection,and traffic simulation analysis report.In model modification part,software modeling and output animation were checked emphasesly.In model correction and inspection part,the precondition,the scope,and the steps of model correction were cleared up.The process and methods of model correction and inspection were determined.In the analysis report part,the basic requirements of it was analyzed and studied from two parts.This paper has finished the technical accumulation for the development of the relevant standards,through the analysis of the above four parts,and eventually formed the Hebei provincial standards " Technical standards of highway traffic simulation projects".The standard will solve a series of problems about lacking of mature standard guide for highway simulation application in our country and judging the credibility of the model insufficiency.The application of highway traffic simulation can be more standardized,and the validity of the analysis can be further recognized.
