With the power system capacity increasing,the requirements of power system security and reliability are also increasing.In this paper,the application of the arrester and the transformer on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis system is proposed,in order to monitor the operation status of power system equipment,so that the equipment can be in continuous electrical work in real-time monitoring of the operation of data,its performance can be grasped at any time.Firstly,the main causes of failure of Metal Zinc Oxide arrester are analyzed.After a variety of diagnostic methods,we choose the most reliable method of diagnosis of MOA resistive leakage current detection method,and to verify the accuracy and reliability by the mathematical model of MOA which established by MATLAB Simulink.Through the data processing function of DSP and the comprehensive analysis of Remote Monitoring Center,the real-time monitoring and the appraisal of The MOA is realized.The project implementation scheme of the lightning arrester on line monitoring system is presented,and the system monitoring requirements are met by the installation and testing.Secondly,according to the reasons of dissolved gas in transformer oil,this paper introduces the principle of gas chromatography,technical indicators and fault diagnosis methods in detail,that is using gas chromatography technology to monitor the composition and content of gas in transformer oil,then to judge qualified of the transformer by technology,if not,it will judge the fault type of the transformer through the three ratio method and David triangle method.The operation results of system meet the requirements of online monitoring.Finally,this paper analyzes the reason of core grounding fault of the transformer,and gives the method of iron core grounding detection.And to verify the reliability of the technical indicators through theoretical calculation,ANSOFT magnetic circuit analysis and MATLAB simulation analysis.The measured results are in agreement with the theoretical calculation and simulation analysis,which proves the accuracy of the system.At the same time,it puts forward three points in the installation processing of the transformer to avoid the multiple points grounding fault caused by the installation technology.
