Along with the innovation of the times,the traditional technology of mechanical seal is also in change constantly,non-contact mechanical seal has good sealing effect,high reliability,low energy consumption,strong anti-interference ability and other outstanding advantages,so it is widely used.For the liquid-film seal,Cavitation effect on the seal face occurres worldwide,but its mechanism and the regularity of effect on the performance of the seal has not been fully cognized,the cavitation will cause frequent safety accidents in engineering application.Therefore,the development and design of the experimental system of cavitation effect in liquid-film seal,is of great significance,to obtain good performance of liquid-film seal,as well as to provide guidance for the improvement and optimization of mechanical seal face-structure,and production.Based on the analysis of current research situation about the mechanical seal experimental system,this paper puts forward the design scheme of visual experimental system,whose aim is research on the cavitation phenomenon,including the design of main parts and visual sealed cavity,the development on medium circulation system,measure and control system.Based on the hardware design principle of data acquisition system,determine the hardware structure of measure and control system for research on the cavitation phenomenon,and choose the related components.Combined with the virtual instrument(VI)and processing technology of the digital signal,use the LabVIEW software of graphical programming,to form and develop the system that monitors the information in liquid-film seal face.This paper mainly takes two aspects into account to induce and control the liquid-film cavitation effect,which are adjusting the parameters of the variable condition and changing the structure of liquid-film.By the software of computational fluid dynamics(CFD),make numerical calculation on the distribution of pressure and the velocity field inside the sealed cavity,to provide guidance for adjusting the parameters of the experiment condition;Establish the entity model that can store standardization and seriation parts library,using the method of parametric design,develop the parametric system of liquid-film seal structure,more effectively and quickly change the mechanical seal parts,to lay a foundation for control and how to induce the cavitation phenomenon in liquid-film seal.The experimental system researched and developed provide an effective site for study on the performances of liquid-film seal,when the cavitation phenomenon happened in the faces of non-contact liquid-film seal,collect and analyze the data tested in experiments of the cavitation effect,through the establishment of appropriate test means.Find out the change rule of main performance parameters of liquid-film seal,under the state of cavitation effect,put forward some methods to improve the service life of the liquid-film seal.
