Dual crisis of the energy and environment and the "Twelfth Five-year Plan " focusing on the new energy automotive which was proposed by government are making the automobile industry turn to zero emissions and new energy automobiles, meanwhile, as the strategic objectives, the developments of the new energy vehicles are limited by motors and batteries. As the most critical control technology of electric vehicle, the vehicle control technology plays a decisive role in the power performance, economy performance, safety and comfort of the vehicle.Based on the project "electric minibus development" in Changzhou, a New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., the thesis researched on a minibus vehicle control strategy, selected and matched the parameters of the whole power system, also, it analyzed the different operation modes and built the vehicle model for strategy verifying. The specific contents are as follows:(1)The structure of the power system of electric minibus was analyzed and designed, also, the parameter matching flow of the whole power system was established. And according to the vehicle performance requirements and customer design requirements, parameters of each power system component were carefully selected and matched. With the analysis of different speed conditions and acceleration conditions, the parameters of motor were mainly studied.(2)Principles and structure of vehicle controlling were analyzed. According to the requirements of the vehicle structure and performance, the functional tasks of vehicle controller during the running process of the vehicle were clearly listed and the overall framework of the vehicle control strategy was set up, which mainly studied the driving strategy that analyzed in different conditions, mainly included the starting control, normal driving control, limp driving control and safety control. The basic torque and torque compensation were emphatically focused on in normal driving, which can better meet the driving intention.(3)The whole vehicle model was established in AMESim environment, basically included the vehicle model, driver model, motor model, battery model and controller model. Also, parameters were all set in accordance to the determined parameters of each part, and finally the control strategies were integrated into a super component, which was the controller model.(4)The vehicle model and the control strategy were validated to analyze whether they can meet the requirements of vehicle performance according to different working conditions or driving conditions, primarily included starting control strategy, normal control strategy, limp driving strategy and safety control strategy.
