Experimental Research On Seismic Behavior Of Composite Shear Wall With Double Steel Plates And Infill Concrete With Stiffeners

Abstract/Summary:
In super high-rise buildings,at present,the shear wall or the cylinder structure composed of the shear wall areusually subjected as the resistance of lateral force.Therefore,composite shear wall with double steel plates and infillconcrete,with the advantages of good strength,deformability and simple construction,is widely used.A new type of composite shear wall with double steel plates and infill concrete with stiffeners(CSW),witch consist of 2 kinds of structure forms,is proposed.The mechanical behavior and seismic performance of CSW are studied by experimental method and numerical simulation method.The main research work is as follows:(1)Two groups of specimens,consist of ten CSW specimens,were tested under lager axial compressive force and reversed cyclic lateral load.The main parameters of Form-Ⅰ varied in tests were stiffener forms and setting of concrete filled steel tubular column in central of the specimens.The main parameters of Form-Ⅱ varied in tests were axial compressive ratio and shear-span ratio.(2)The influence of the above-mentioned parameters on failure characteristic,hysteretic curve,skeleton curve,deformability,strength degradation,stiffness degradation and energy dissipation capacity of the specimens were observed.The result indicate that the CSW shows good strength,ductility and energy dissipation capacity.And the CSW has great seismic performance.(3)Finite element model of 10 specimens were set up by using the finite element analysis software ABAQUS.The results of finite element analysis are in good agreement with the experimental results.On this basis,further analysis of parameters which influence the capacity of CSW was conducted.And the parameters analyzed including thickness ofsteel plate,steel strength,concrete strength,axial compressive ratio and shear-span ratio.(4)Based on the skeleton curve from the test data,the simplified skeleton curve was provided by fitting method.The formulas of key points on the simplified skeleton curve were given.Finally,some recommendations of the CSW to the seismic design of construction are presented.
