The Control Software In Engine Cold Simulate Test Stand Application With LabVIEW

The Automobile had been manufactured nearly hundreds of years,the technical with the automobile is developed more and more well.Though the new energy automobile is been a popular subject and the developing trends by the human in future,but under the situation with some key problems don't resolved yet,so the more save gasoline and high efficiency engine still has big demands.Nowadays in China much more engine assembly plant still use hot-simulate engine test stand to check the off line engine,the hot simulate engine test way is directly,common,and expand feature,but the disadvantage is cost too much,low efficiency,and polluted the environment.As the electrical technical,computer technical,software and internet technical developed quickly and well.The abroad company had been widely used cold engine test stand,but the domestic company or research and institute have some knowledge,but still don't have a whole automation control system,so if we have an own control system in China then they should be a big market.This article introduced a cold-simulate engine control and check way based on Lab VIEW software and Siemens PLC S7-300 software.Firstly showed the overall designed with content structure,include whole sub-systems,like stand control system,data acquisition system,data stored system etc.The motor servo control system is based on Siemens PLC,so I just declared shortly.In the data acquisition part I written how to choose some important transducers,and which four parts should be checked.Secondly,using a chapter to introduce how to communicate between the Siemens with the LabVIEW software by OPC.Because these two software can't exchange the data directly.Lastly,introduced clearly with sub-test parts program based on LabVIEW software,like designing the real-time calculate module,between the sub VI how to exchange the data with XML,each HMI how to used,and how to write the result data into the Microsoft SQL database.With the reference engine designed parameter,this article involved the cold-simulate engine test features,designed and researched a whole control and test system.This system integrate highly,used convenience,maintainence easily,extend simply.Also use the Microsoft's SQL database to collect the testing result,this database server can help the enterprise to run the big data analysis and good to re-research and promote the engine quality.
