China has achieved a brilliant success in hydropower construction.The distribution of water resource status with high intensity seismic region leaves lots of important hydraulic structures exposed to the seismic risk,and it's necessary to pay attention to the seismic research of hydraulic structures.Hydropower house is the core part of hydropower production,of which the seismic response rules and seismic performance is significantly different from other hydraulic structures like dam and intake tower.The research on seismic response analysis of hydropower house is obviously lagging behind other buildings,so it is necessary to speed up and deepen the research progress in this area.In this paper,based on the CDP model,finite element numerical simulation and multi factor coupling model,seismic analysis and research of the hydropower house is carried out.(1)The main methods of the analysis of the seismic response of hydropower house are summarized and analyzed.At the same time,the principle and the method to determine CDP model with ABAQUS software are discussed.(2)It is difficult to obtain the reasonable seismic response of the hydropower house by determining the Rayleigh damping by the first two natural frequencies of the structure.The modals that contribute greatly to the dynamic response are found based on mode participation mass.And numerical experiments show that the damping matrix determined by using Rayleigh damping coefficients obtained by this method is closer to the actual one and the seismic response of the powerhouse is more reasonable.(3)Based on the research and discussion on the theory of infinite element and infinite element boundary earthquake input method,a finite-infinite element method model is successfully established.At the same time,based on the Python language,a secondary development is made within ABAQUS software to simplify the pretreatment process.And it is proved that the finite-infinite element method can meet the engineering requirements by verifing a numerical example.(4)With Rayleigh damping found based on mode participation mass,and CDP model,a finite-infinite element method model of a realhydropower house is successfully established.And through this model,the influence of radiation damping is analyzed,and the damage evolution of weak components is discussed,and the key factors of building structure seismic performance evaluation of hydropower house is summarized in this paper.
