Rapid prototyping technology is an advanced manufacturing technology developed in 1990s,it brings a revolutionary change to the traditional manufacturing industry,the stereolithography technology is the world's earliest research,the highest precision,the most widely used of a rapid prototyping technology.As one of the key technologies of stereolithography rapid prototyping,the suspension structure is of great significance to ensure the reliable positioning of every part of the structure.Good suspension structure in the premise of ensuring the formation should be done without damage to the parts of the prototype surface accuracy,and reduce the redundant suspension.In view of this,this thesis makes a deep research on the generation of suspension structure.Based on the analysis of the design criteria of the suspension structure and the classical suspension structures in the stereolithography rapid prototyping system.The base is located between the working platform and the suspension structure,which is the basis for generating the suspension structure.On the basis of studying the rectangular substrate which is widely used at present,in order to reduce the area of substrate generation,this algorithm has been improved.This paper proposes and realizes the interactive generation of the suspension structure.The method is simple and easy to implement.However,in order to reduce the influence of human factors,the professional requirements of the software system operator are higher.Therefore,it is used for the suspension structure automatically generated after the implementation of interactive modification.The automatic generation of suspension structure is another method proposed in this paper.Based on the topological information of STL part model,the geometric attributes and extraction algorithms of the feature area to be suspended are summarized.According to the characteristics of each type of feature area to be suspended,the suspension starting point is sampled and the growth starting point and the growth end of the suspension structure are determined.The combination of the tip,rod and base is used to form the three-dimensional nail suspension structure.In this process,the necessity of adaptive adjustment of step size is described.By analyzing and comparing the principle of multiple adaptive step size,an optimal step size adaptive adjustment method is obtained.Finally,Visual Studio 2013 and VTK are used as the development tools to realize the algorithm,which is successfully integrated into the photo-curing rapid prototyping software system suspension function module and used in the actual processing and manufacturing,which effectively solves the difficulties in the photo-curing rapid prototyping technology.
