Masonry structure is one of the oldest architectural forms in our country and is commently used in building structures. Its seismic performance, however, should be serious considerate while construct multy-storey buildings.According to the current condition of China, masonry materials will not be eliminated soon. Therefore, effective measure must be found to avoid the damage and collapse of masonry structure,as soon as casualties and economic losses,in severe earthquake. This paper joint CBF mesh in horizontal mortar to improve seismic performance of masonry wall.Quasi-static test was done. And the specimens contain two different height-width ratio(0.65,0.95)and five different reinforced patterns(10 pieces in total).Compare the effects of different walls on seismic performance by the damaged pattern, bearing capacity and seismic performance indicators of the test. Then the finite element analysis to the walls was done. Conclusions is as follows:(1)Reinforcement of CBF mesh has positive effection on walls such as delay the walls’ crack, restrain the development of crack, reduce the width of cracks, slow down walls’ stiffness-degradation,improve walls’ ductility and energy dissipation ability;(2)Reinforcement of CBF mesh can improve the bearing capacity of the walls which height-width is 0.95,but have no positive effect on the walls which height-width is 0.65;(3)The results conclude from quasi-static test and finite element analysis are almost at the same point.σy/fm of FRP reinforced perforated brick walls should not exceed 0.4.
