X-ray inspection of high density impurity is critical to guarantee the product quality.Based on the actual application demand of X-ray inspection equipment in vanadium aluminum quality inspection, during the production of vanadium aluminum, there is a possibility of product pollution caused by high-density metal materials, for example, a high-density metal impurity such as Pb and W, etc. is the fatal defect of the aerospace leveled vanadium aluminum master alloy. The article analyzed the fundamental principle of X-ray high-density metal impurity inspection equipment and comprehensively designed the X-ray high voltage system, image receiving system, motion control system and application software.First of all, it studied and analyzed the high voltage controller and X-ray generator, then selected the high voltage and image-forming system that is suitable for vanadium aluminum master alloy. According to vanadium aluminum master alloy and X-ray characteristics,choose proper signal receive module, and designed signal imaging and analyze system. LED line detector absorbs X-ray and converted to visible light by scintillate module, photodiode convert optical signals to electrical signals, the digital signals connect to IPC(Industrial Personal Computer) to processing after A/D conversion. According to the actual function requirement, designed the hardware frame, PLC is the center of the control system, and Ethernet is used to connect PLC, HMI interface, X-ray signal transmission and processing system to realize the safety and stable working requirement. At last system realized the automatic inspection and high-density impurity cleaning.Through the continuous research and analysis of inspection system performance as well as several adjustments during the commissioning process, the desirable inspection result was achieved finally. The final achievement is real time image forming of vanadium aluminum master alloy by X-ray and that the impurity can be automatically processed at the sight of defects, which could guarantee the high equipment efficiency and reduce the cost consumption of labor and raw material to increase the economic profit for enterprises. |
