This article on clay- slag at home and abroad on the basis of studying the performance of mixed soil, clay is studied by the compaction and the proportion of test-slag mixed soil physical properties, was studied by direct shear test of clay- slag mixed soil and geogrid reinforced with large room slag resistance to shear, geogrid were studied through model test the performance of reinforced foundation with large room, contrast of the two reinforcement effect, and analyze its reinforcement mechanism, and the factors affecting the performance of reinforced compares detailed research.Compaction and proportion of the test results show that when clay content at 60%, for a better ratio of mixed soil, can obtain good compaction effect, can provide a reference for engineering practice. increasing can increase the proportion of lump of clay- the proportion of slag mixed soil.Direct shear test results show that the pure shear strength of slag is greater than the clay- slag mixed soil strength, internal friction Angle of pure slag significantly greater than the clay- slag mixed soil Angle of internal friction, and cohesion is less than the cohesion of clay- slag mixed soil. Clay- slag mixed soil shear strength with the increase of clay content decreases, and the clay- slag mixed Angle of internal friction of soil increased with the increase of clay content decreases, and the cohesion is gradually increase. Bidirectional geogrid reinforcement effect than large room reinforcement effect is poor. Two kinds of slag reinforced Angle of internal friction Angle of internal friction and pure slag is basically the same, but significantly increased the cohesion, shear strength relative to pure slag were significantly increased, reinforcement effect performance obviously. Two kinds of reinforced materials reinforced effect coefficient decreases with the increase of the vertical pressure, that reinforcement materials under low pressure can play a better reinforcement effect. Relative to the large room, the bidirectional geogrid reinforcement effect coefficient is not very sensitive to the change of the vertical pressure. Therefore, in the case of the vertical pressure change is bigger, the bidirectional geogrid is more suitable for as a reinforcement material.Engineering examples, the results showed that the geonet reinforcement material, through the role of the interface friction with the slag filler, constraint the bridge approach embankment lateral deformation, thus decrease the vertical deformation. Geonet reinforcement effect of internal stress distribution of filler is changed, the vertical stress redistribution, reduced the vertical additional stress, and make it on the cross section distribution more uniform, can effectively reduce the road embankment settlement and uneven settlement, can raise the shearing strength of the slag filler at the same time, reduce the horizontal tensile stress in the packing. With reinforced slag filler filling the bridge approach embankment is a kind of effective method for overhead bridge jump car. Because of the industrial waste slag, and thus results of this subject has significant environmental benefits, economic benefits and social benefits.
