Large-span spatial structures possess advantages of the aesthetic appearance,structural efficiency,light weight and low cost.Therefore the large-span spatial structures have been widely applied in stadiums,theaters,exhibition centres and terminal buildings.Due to the large size,the complexity and the long construction period of the large-span spatial structures,the possibility of accidents during the construction period is high for these structures.Hence,the construction simulation and monitoring of the large-span spatial structures during the construction period gain much attention.This thesis focuses on the construction simulation and monitoring of the Harbin concert hall.The main contents are as follows:(1)The analysis methods of construction mechanics and their characteristics were summarized.And then the analysis method used in this paper was determined.The program SAP2000 was employed to carry out the construction simulation of the Harbin concert hall.The displacements at the key locations of the structure were obtained.And the uninstallation method of the temporary supports were determined.The results indicate that the finite element method is more suitable for construction analysis than the time-varying element method and topology variation method.The multi-point synchronous uninstallation method was proved to be practicable by the analysis results of the vertical and horizontal displacements of the key members of the structure.(2)The contents,methods and systems of the construction monitoring were discussed.Based on the results of the construction analysis,the scheme of the construction monitoring of the Harbin concert hall was developed.The displacements of the key locations of the structure were monitored during the uninstallation of temporary supports,and measured results were also compared with simulation results.Besides,the reaction forces of the temporary supports were monitored during the uninstallation process.The results indicate that the displacements of the key locations changed gradually,which proves that the structure was in a stable condition.The measured results and simulation results are very close,and they have the same developing trends.The reaction forces of the temporary supports decreased to be zero after uninstallation,which satisfies the desired results.(3)Harbin concert hall has strict requirements on the control of the displacement.Therefore the stresses and displacements of key members were also monitored and simulated during the installation of glass curtain walls.The results indicate that the installation of glass curtain walls has insignificant influence on the stresses of members,which was also confirmed by simulation results.And the installation of glass curtain walls has no obvious disturbance on the structure.The displacements of the main and secondary trusses increased slightly,but,the structure was in a stable condition.
