With the city scale continuous expansion,central heating has also achieved the great development.However,it also faces many challenges,such as the energy shortages,environmental pollution problems,the limited laying space of underground pipelines and many other issues.More attention should be taken in the development of the central heating technology.In this paper,the definition,composition and one-way annulus heating pipe network are expatiated.And summarizes th e advantages and disadvantages of unidirectional ring-shaped heating pipe network.It provides a theoretical basis for the application of unidirectional ring-shaped heating pipe network in the reformation scheme of heat network.Then,the cost function of heating network is analyzed from the economic perspective of engineering investment.Combined with the concrete example,the paper analyzes the economic optimization scheme when the traditional heating pipe network is reformed by the unidirectional ring pipe network.The paper also has conducted the economic analysis of branch trunk renovation programs,mainly about comparison the size of circulating pump power for the unidirectional ring network systems and the traditional two-pipe heating system.Regarding the traditional two-pipe heating system as a benchmark,study the economy of rehabilitation program in the traditional two-pipe heating systems,double pipe distribution pump system,unidirectional ring network system in which the flow of branch lines eq ual to the primary side as well as unidirectional ring network system in which the flow of branch lines equal to the secondary side.And give formulas of the pump power.When the other conditions are the same,by comparison,the power of the unidirectional ring network delivery pump is the most optimal.The cyclic trunk node distance,the size of friction resistance,the length of the annular trunk,branch load distribution and the reserved resistance in resources and users,when analyze these factors’ impact of the pump delivery power,we also find out that the unidirectional ring network heating systems has more advantages.Finally,the paper has taken an example,a municipal engineering project renovated the traditional two-pipe heating system to the unidirectional ring network,illustrating the unidirectional ring network heating system practical application advantages and characteristics.Currently,the project application for the unidirectional ring network heating system has just started,which needs experts and scholar to do more researches.The rehabilitation programs and project example that are put forward in this paper have a certain reference value to the practical application of the unidirectional ring network heating system.
