The dynamic star simulator is an important functional testing device in the star sensor ground calibration test.With the development of star sensor,star simulator are toward a higher precision,higher speed and the direction of more realistic star map simulation.In this paper,the algorithm of high precision dynamic star simulator star map simulation software is studied.Thereby improving the accuracy of the star position simulation,star map refresh rate and the magnitude of simulation accuracy.Based on systematically carried out the development status of the instrument,this paper expounds the composition and working principle of the dynamic star simulator,proposes a new star simulator software algorithm for the dynamic star simulator,the original star simulation software can not carry out the simulation of the magnitude information;The new algorithm designed the dynamic star simulator magnitude simulation algorithm,and optimization of the navigation satellite retrieval algorithm.In the new algorithm,the magnitude simulation algorithm uses the sub-pixel image display technology to allocate the star energy,so that the energy distribution obeys the two-dimensional Gaussian distribution function,closer to the real observation effect,the sub-pixel also corrects the position of the star to improve the simulation precision of the star position;Navigation star retrieval is in the entire sky on the basis of the partition to complete the optimization,in a specific field of view centering on a sub-region to which the optical axis of the star sensor is directed,greatly reduced the scope of the search navigation star area of the sky,thus improved the navigation star retrieval speed.Through the experiment of the optimized simulation software of the dynamic star simulator map algorithm was tested,experimental results show that,magnitude simulation accuracy is better than ±0.3Mv,star map refresh rate reached 43.5Hz.
