More and more metro lines has been operated in several cities,indicating main communication way of urban mass transit.However,metro station gains its popularity as well as crowded passenger flow,which urgently calls for new type of metro station to satisfy the need of wider space and large-span metro station arises.Based on the forementioned background,study on static and dynamic performance of non-column and large-span metro station with haunched roof is implemented by using FEM through commercial software ABAQUS.The results are hoped to provide references for engineering practice in line 11 of Guangzhou metro.The main contents are summarized as follows:(a)3D solid model of roof with different haunch's size is modelled to manifest mechanical rule with fixed boundary condition and vertical uniformly distributed load.And the size of haunch's influence on steel's reinforcement is discussed.Besides,force method is applied to get analytical solution of haunched roof's moment distribution after reasonable simplifications,which shows excellent match with numerical solution.(b)Load-structure method is thought better to numerical analysis than stratum-sturcture method after detail comparison.Large-span and non-column station models with haunched roof in different spans are established under normal load condition using load-structure method.Different sizes of haunch have different results on moment and axial force in the middle of span as well as moment in the support and rules are summarized.(c)Metro stations with and without column's seismic response under Kobe wave are compared through soil-structure interaction numerical simulation.Damage distribution,residual deformation and horizontal acceleration-time histories between column and non-column metro station are showed and discussed.(d)11m and 13 m of non-column and large-span metro station with haunched roof are further studied for its' seismic response.Selecting Kobe wave,EI-Centro wave and Guangzhou artificial wave,waves' acceleration-time histories and Fourier spectrum,damage distribution picture of station,ground acceleration,acceleration-time histories between roof slab and bottom slab and relative displacement of station are detail compared to illustrate rules of seismic response.
