Research On Quality Control In Key Section And The Method Of Payment In Accordance With The Quality Of Asphalt Pavement Based On Auto-monitoring System

The research of quality payment has been actively conducted on asphalt pavement(AP)construction at home and abroad.However,due to limitations of technical means,there are some defects on achievement of experimental data(e.g.asphalt content,percentage of mineral aggregates and production temperature)at the present quality control of AP construction,which are required further improvement on the aspects of timeliness,accuracy and integrity for collecting experimental information.Therefore,this paper focused on the key elements of quality control(i.e.production of asphalt mixture and field construction)in the AP construction,and an evaluation system of AP quality control based on the key indicators of quality payment and the automatic monitoring platform for Chaozhou-Huizhou highway project was put forward naturally.The present evaluation system provides a certain reference significance to AP quality management on real-time performance and operability in our country.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Referencing the system of Quality Assurance/Quality Control(QA/QC)in US and engineering experience of the third-party quality assurance organizations in Guangdong Province,A new quality control system based on Chaozhou-Huizhou highway project was proposed to fill the gaps in the applications of quality payment in highway project,which is suitable for most parts of China.(2)Relying on the monitoring platform that can transmit the collected data to the front display device by network,the present system has implemented the function of monitoring the whole process of asphalt mixture and compaction.There is a warming alarm once the collected data exceed the alert levels,which allows the managers and consultants to perform the analysis of monitoring data for the real-time adjustment and time-saving of handing quality accidents.Despite the fact that the present system still cannot replace the traditional post-mortem of accidents completely,it is convenient to control the AP quality of construction.(3)A system of quality payment was proposed by combining the index data from the monitor platform and the partial inspection index,including the stability of mixture production(e.g.the rate of key sieve-pass,asphalt-aggregate ratio,duration of mixing and outlet temperature),construction stability(e.g.paving temperature and speed,rollingtemperature and speed),uniformity index of pavement,quality acceptance index(e.g.thickness,degree of compaction,smoothness,penetration and skid resistance).(4)According to multi-parameter statistical analysis,comprehensive evaluation results,and relevant payment coefficient,a system combining the construction quality and payment was completely put forward to actualize the purpose of quality premium,which has a positive effect on the pavement quality control that worth promoting in AP construction in the most parts of our country.
