Vacuum casting is one of the most widely technology of rapid prototyping technology.Based on this technology, the vacuum casting machine is equipment which blends different percent solution, and then casts and pours the mixed solution into the molds. This device can achieve the high flexibility and efficiency of non-metallic in small-lot and multi-type production environment,which can meet the enterprise production’s requirements and occupy an active and advantageous position in the fierce market competition and favored by the market.Among them, the mixed effect has directly impact on the quality of the products, and the study about the internal mixer of injection equipment become more and more valued and stressed.This paper mainly studied on the design of independent and practical internal mixed equipment for vacuum injection molding machine, which is based on computational fluid dynamics technology.Learning the research experience from home and abroad, vacuum casting machine is designed, and it can make a small and medium-sized products of non-metallic. The finite element model of Pouring cabin and dynamic mixer are set up, the thermal field of pouring cabin is found by S2S model Solution of FLUENT software so that the working condition is known, Mixture multiphase model, RNG k - ε model and PISO algorithm were chosen in FLUENT software to obtain the result of numerical simulation for the different outlet location of premixed pipe about mixer, number of blades, speed about impeller and unsteady location of blades. In the end, the Mixing performance about mixer is detected with the method of observing the quality of pouring products and detecting the mechanical properties of pouring products.The result showed that there are different mixing performance when the premixed pipe outlet location was changed, the mixer had its best mixing performance if the number of blades are sixteen. The mixing performance had well effect as the rotational speed was increased at the same time, but the mixing performance would have steady state when it obtain certain speed and the mixing performance of transforming the installation site about impeller had weak influence. On this basis, the secondary shear effect from impeller and turbulence function of moving parts for flow field in mixer could accelerate liquid mix according to the velocity vector of liquid particle, the distribution of flow streamline , turbulent intensity and strain rate. We choose Epoxy resin (E51) and the corresponding curing agent to mix for a mould. The result of experiment showed that this dynamic mixer had reliable mixing performance.
