With the development of science and technology,there are many new technologies,the shipbuilding technology is facing great challenges and opportunities.At present,the 3D ship hull plate forming in shipyards is using traditional line-heating forming combined with rolling forming model,which depends largely on manual operation and restricts the production efficiency,and the product quality is difficult to control.Wuhan University of Technology proposed a device based on reconfigurable loose mould forming mechanism with square press heads,which control the sheet metal forming by the computer,improving the production efficiency and reducing the manual dependency.As the main defect of the forming process,the springback problem decrease shape accuracy greatly.Therefore,it is very important to study the forming springback of sheet metal.Based on the previous study of SKWB-400 model prototype CNC ship Plate machine,numerical simulation model for cold forming process is established,which is used to study the springback law,we use dimensional analysis to analyze simulation results to get a calculation formula of the maximum springback,and then propose the method of springback control.The cold forming of spherical parts is taken as research object.Firstly,the processes of forming are tentatively analyzed by the finite element method and get its results,then compared them with the previous experimental results to verify the correctness of the finite element model and the simulation results.Secondly,based on the numerical simulation,we take the thickness of the plate,the radius of forming and the material parameters as variables,and use the orthogonal experimental design to optimize simulation plan.The results show that the springback with a high degree of symmetry,and the farther the distance is from the center of symmetry,the greater the springback is.For a forming part with the same material and forming radius,when the thickness increase,the maximum springback value decrease;For a forming part with the same material and thickness,when then forming radius increase,the maximum springback value increase.Finally,we use dimensional analysis method to analyze the springback simulation data and obtain the maximum springback formula,and providing a new method for quantitative analysis of springback.Then we take use of previous experimental data to verify the rationality of the formula.At the same time,we put forward the concrete method to control the springback,and then carry out an example simulation,the results show that the control method has a good effect,and it has certain reference value and utility value.
