Aerostatic thrust bearing is widely used in precision linear platform,which emanate from their low friction and high accuracy.The experimental study on the dynamic characteristics of the aerostatic thrust bearing is the key to the parameter design and engineering application of the bearing,which is of great significance to improve the bearing performance and thus expand its application range.In this paper,the dynamic characteristics mathematical model of the aerostatic thrust bearing is deduced.The dynamic characteristics test program of the bearing is designed and the dynamic characteristics test-rig of the aerostatic thrust bearing is designed and built.The dynamic characteristics of aerostatic thrust bearing is studied on the test-rig.The main contents of this paper are list as follows:1)The mathematical model on the dynamic characteristics of aerostatic thrust bearing is deduced using the perturbation method,The dynamic characteristics of the aerostatic thrust bearing is analyzed by introducing the small amplitude simple-harmonic vibration in the static position,and the mathematical model of dynamic bearing gap-dynamic bearing capacity is deduced.2)The test program is designed for testing the dynamic characteristics of aerostatic thrust bearing.Determined to use the stepped sine test system for the test on dynamic characteristics of aerostatic thrust bearing,which based on the model of dynamic bearing gap-dynamic bearing capacity and the theory of mechanical vibration testing.3)The test-rig is designed for testing the dynamic performance of aerostatic thrust bearing.A variety of schemes are proposed for the overall structure,loading method,measurement method and component design of the test-rig.The test-and-control system of the test-rig is designed and the equipment is selected.4)The test-rig is built for dynamic performance of aerostatic thrust bearing.Write a data test system software to achieve the data automatically on the Lab VIEW;the non-standard parts of the test-rig is designed in detail;completed the assemble of the test-rig mechanical system and construction of the test-and-control system.5)The dynamic performance test of the typical rigid-groove aerostatic thrust bearing is carried out.The amplitude-frequency characteristic curves of the experimental bearings under different working conditions(gas supply pressure and steady bearing gap)have measured.Besides,the experimental error have analyzed. |
