The rapid development of China's economy since the reform and opening up, the real estate industry as a pillar industry of China's economy in the times, the last century fifty's start of China's construction industry has entered a rapid development, people put forward higher requirements for the structure and function of building, especially in space and clearance, in order to meet the request, began to appear a lot of new structural system is used more and more widely, the reinforced concrete frame structure in the past in many cases has been unable to meet the demand of architectural space and shape, reinforced concrete slab column structure to alleviate this problem, the reinforced concrete slab column structure is simple and easy to build system and increase the space utilization rate, the advantages of low cost, small amount of formwork engineering, has been more and more widely used in the construction industry, But the reinforced concrete slab column structure due to node force is very complex, the stress is concentrated, it is prone to punching failure, resulting in disastrous consequences.We understand the research situation at home and abroad, the formation of a literature review and report. Then, to find and read data and text, make relevant records, clear at home and abroad on the slab column connections under vertical load of punching failure research, and then introduces the concept of punching failure, the difference between shear failure and punching failure, analyzes the main influence factors of punching failure, and according to the the existing test data and introduces three kinds of failure modes of slab column joints and compared the shear failure mechanism has carried on the analysis to the nature of these three types of failure from the punch, analysis results show that the three failure essence is the development of concrete cracks caused by bending, the height of compression zone continues to decrease, eventually because of shear compression zone under compression shear stress reaches the ultimate strength and failure. Based on the punching failure mechanism of in-depth understanding and analysis based on the proposed force analysis model and calculation formula for punching shear bearing capacity of reinforced concrete slab column structure, punching shear failure test data collection, and the punching failure test database with the formula calculation results were compared.Through this research, can accurately analyze the type and effect under vertical load of slab column connection punching failure, and ways to deal with this problem, ensure the reinforced concrete slab column structure is more widely used.
