With the continuous development and utilization of new energy, the technology of energy storage is also increasingly diversified. The main methods of the energy storage are following: physical energy storage, electromagnetic energy storage,electrochemical energy storage and phase change energy storage. The elastic energy storage as a kind of physical energy storage is known for its high energy density,low cost and high reliability. There are few reports on its application in device for energy storage ,while it is has been less reported that it is used in the occasion of storing gravity potential energy. Therefore the flat scroll spring is selected as a research object from elastic parts. Design of energy storage devices and the control strategy for storing of gravity potential energy about the lifting machinery based on it is of great significance.The specific contents of this paper and the conclusions are as follows:Firstly,considering the shape characteristics of the flat scroll spring, it is equivalent to the beam and the finite element model is established. Through the finite element stress analysis and the flexible body analysis about the flat scroll spring,The stress distribution in the cross section and the characteristic curve is obtained in the process of energy storage. The above results are used to verify the correctness of the material about the flat scroll spring,that is,to determine whether the the flat scroll spring will fail at work, and to provide reference for the optimization of its structure.In addition, the free-mode analysis of the the flat scroll spring is carried out to obtain the first 20-step mode and frequency.The influence of different cross sections on it is analyzed.Design energy storage device taking the flat scroll spring as the core and processed it into a physical model which can be used to simulate the collection and storage of various energy in external environment and provide experimental data for testing the correctness of numerical simulation in the next step.To the energy storage device designed in the last step as the object,the simulation study is carried out In MATLAB/Simulink, and the shape of the cross sections on the flat scroll spring, the structure and the material of the parts in the energy storage device are optimized to achieve the best energy storage efficiency.In the experiment and the numerical simulation analysis, it is found that the energy loss in the energy storage process is mainly due to the friction loss during the gear transmission of the external energy storage device, and the distance between the rings in the energy storage process as a result of deviating from the center.Then,it is proposed that we can store the potential energy by using the energy storage device in the process of lifting and lowering machinery. Besides the lifting machine of the horizontal recirculation garage is selected as the engineering object,and the collected potential energy is used for the ventilation and exhaust of the garage.In addition, the parameters about input drive system and flat scroll spring tightening mechanism in energy storage device can be designed according to lift system motor and reducer parameters about the garage.And then according to the relevant standards the amount of ventilation in the garage can be calculated. On this basis, a reasonable blower and exhaust fan can be selected. And we can design the output system about the flat scroll spring energy storage device.Finally,the idea of using the energy storage device to store gravity potential energy in the process of declining about the lifting machinery is proposed. In addition,the motion equation of each stage in the process of descent is analyzed, and the control strategy in the process of heavy descent is proposed,which can provide reference for storing of gravity potential energy in the actual project.In addition, in the in the process of storing of energy, the original system will change in the aspect of force and speed. So there are some guess put forward as follows:after proper handling in the structure,the flat scroll spring energy storage device can be used as a speed controller and also as a buffer device.
